Sarah Cohen

Sarah specializes in executive coaching and organizational consulting. With advanced  certification in ORSC, Organizational Relationship Systems Coaching, Sarah collaborates with companies to support Boards of Directors, top management, teams and individuals with their organizational needs.

As a licensed clinical social worker with 25+ years of experience working with individuals, couples and families, she uses a strength-based collaborative approach.  Sarah is a certified Trauma Therapist who focuses on resiliency and healing.  She has trained extensively with The Couples Institute and utilizes the Developmental Model for Couples therapy.  She has extensive experience working with children, adults, couples and families facing school issues, behavioral issues, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, separation, co-parenting and family of origin issues.  Our office is a safe space and welcomes LGBTQ individuals and families.

Sarah holds a Master of Social Work from the University of California Berkeley and has served as a lecturer/faculty member there, as well as an instructor/lecturer at the University Extension, UC Davis. She also was the founding board president and was instrumental to the growth of two organizations, Sage Compassion for Animals and Hopalong Animal Rescue, and has served on several other boards, including the Board of Opportunities for Independence and the University of California Social Welfare Alumni Association.
